International Students: First 48 Hours in Canada (2024)

Truly honoured and blown away at how this documentary has taken off. Thank you endlessly to the amazing students I got to meet on this project - I got to learn and expand my own mind through you, and I know so many folks have and will learn from your vulnerability too.

This documentary was Co-Produced by me and Julia Allworth from the Innovation Hub at University of Toronto. I directed, DPed and edited the documentary as well.

Thank you to the INCREDIBLE students at the Innovation Hub for your ambition and organization! This project couldn’t have been as smooth as it went without you!

This documentary has been proudly featured on CP24, CBC’s Metro Morning and iHeart Radio.

The 519

Army of Lovers (May 2023)

I had an amazing time producing, filming and editing this video for the wonderful Toronto hub for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, The 519. I’ve been wanting to work with them for a while and I’m so honoured to finally be able to.

May 17th, 2023 was International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). The 519 held a rally to connect in Community and stand up against the hate that has been spreading throughout the existence of Queer folk - and even further, the hate that has been on the rise with increased advocacy.

I’m grateful that I got to work with Tharsi from The Double Jay Collective on this piece. I love working alongside other creatives who share the same values; I get to learn so much from other people. Thanks for being on this with me, Thar!

CBC

How is masculinity being reinvented in 2022? (March 2022)

I produced this video for CBC with Owen Weir. It was truly an adventure producing, pitching, researching, scriptwriting, directing, DPing, interviewing, and editing this video essay. So thankful for this platform to share my thoughts. I hope this little piece helps the world be a little more inclusive, be a little safer, and be a little warmer.

Has today's idea of masculinity evolved? Or are we stuck in an outdated understanding of what it meant to be 'a man'? In this piece for CBC Creator Network, Cal Campos (they/them) explores the evolution of masculinity from its earliest days until now - an era where artists like Lil Nas X, Harry Styles, and more are setting the stage for a new understanding of what masculinity is, and could be.

LES Studio

Inclusive Streetwear (December 2022)

LES Studio is a gender-neutral hair studio located in Toronto committed to haircuts that exist outside of gender stereotypes. I had the pleasure of working with them on the below videos to help launch their inclusive merchandise: an LES beanie, LES shirt, and LES sweater. I produced, storyboarded, and edited the videos. They have been optimized for both social media (vertical) and website usage (horizontal).
